About Jenn:

I am a licensed school psychologist and Reiki practitioner from Boulder, Colorado. I work with families and schools to improve well-being and strengthen relationships.

While my passion has always been rooted in mental health, my work weaves together evidence-based care with alternative modalities, creating an approach that honors both science and the mystical.

I’m inspired by Carl Jung, Anaïs Nin, mythology, shadow and light, vintage photography, Monet’s winter art, surrealism, sunlight on water, fresh-cut fruit, playing with clay, etc! Above all, I’m drawn to living a meaningful and vibrant life, and enjoy helping others do the same.

Therapeutic Approach:

My work integrates Love and Logic with research on nervous system regulation and attachment. My goal is to help children learn emotional resilience by holding two truths at once: unconditional love and strong boundaries. Getting this delicate balance right means: warmth without hovering, respecting autonomy without abandoning, rule following without shame and choice within structure.

Because past experiences can continue to shape how the brain and body respond to stress, lasting change begins by helping the nervous system experience safety in the present moment. Depending on your needs, therapy may incorporate somatic practices, creative expression, parent-child work, evidence-based interventions and alternative methods.

Philosophy:

In addition to asking "what's happening?" or even "what happened?" we explore deeper questions, such as: What patterns keep repeating? How has your experience shaped your identity? What is this experience inviting you to transform? What wound is asking to be healed?

As adults, meaningful change happens when we understand that our default ways of coping were inherited from our families, communities, and society at large. It’s helpful to recognize what patterns no longer serve us but in order to take the next step, and practice new ways of relating, the body must feel safe enough.

Which is why I believe healing is rooted in connection. Connection to people that matter, community, nature, purpose, and the various parts of ourselves we tend to hide from the world. Healing isn't always linear. Sometimes it's uncomfortable, sometimes it's simple, and sometimes it feels like a giant exhale - all of this is good.
