10 THOUGHTS ON THURSDAY

10 Thoughts on a Thursday

musings, inspiration & ideas from the week

Calling all of the astrologers in this community— can someone please explain what is happening in the cosmos right now? The energy I’ve been feeling the past week has been out of this world.

Okay, For those of you who missed last week’s post, you can go back and read it here :) As you know, I am playing around with this new format of communication. I love writing and expressing myself through words, here’s to something new. I hope you enjoy it. Let’s get into it.

10 thoughts on a Thursday:

  1. Writing to you today in a coffee shop. Usually, I’m posted up in my day bed in the corner of my office under a blanket and surrounded by pillows but today, I felt like something new. I recently learned about my digestion type in human design (which is low sound) and found that I do best when I digest food & information in low-sound environments. I have always been extra sensitive to sound, vibration, and noises— eating in a loud cafeteria as a kid or in lively restaurants always felt so stimulating and slightly unnerving. Learning about my digestion type has completely changed how I work. It’s fascinating. If you want to learn about your digestion type, you can look up your human design chart here — trust me, it will change everything from how you digest food to information.

  2. Speaking of being extra sensitive to noises and vibrations… I am listening to everyone’s phone buzz with an Amber Alert right now and it’s making my anxiety rise! For those of you who don’t live in America… we have this nationwide alert system on our phones when someone goes missing we get an alert that comes through like a text message but with this really loud abrasive beeping sound. Which of the five senses are you most attuned to? Is it sound, light, touch, taste…? Start to pay attention to that and practice playing around with it, see what comes up.

  3. Making things happen vs. allowing them in: What do I mean by this? Lately, I’ve been contemplating the art and science of ‘trying less hard’. If you are reading this now and have read my previous posts, you know what I mean… Trying hard to get what you want feels so… effortful and honestly, unnecessary most of the time. I am here to shift away from the paradime that suggests trying hard = the only way to make things happen. Taking the easy route is not cheating, it’s what your soul wants you to do. Less struggle, more allowing.

  4. I am watching this girl right next to me paint this immaculate picture, like a full on 5x4 ft canvas, watercolors…. at the coffee shop… the whole 9 yards. It’s so beautiful. (This is the reason why I work at coffee shops!) To let other people inspire me and to soak in the energy from other people.

  5. I would like to spend some time in Costa Rica this fall. I’ve narrowed it down to somewhere on the Nicoya Peninsula — I found this beautiful Airbnb but haven’t pressed book yet. If you’ve ever been, or if this is where you call home please share your suggestions with me?

  6. Yesterday, I wrote a blog post about Ketamine Assisted Therapy. It s a REALLY good one. I am super passionate about this topic and am just bursting with things to discuss (i.e., the history of psychedelics, how it is being used today, how society is progressing… etc). If you haven’t already, go read it now! Linked here (eeee!)

  7. As per my last post about the Artists Way (the book I am reading right now about activating creativity)— I decided it was time to take myself on an Artist Date (this is essentially a date with yourself, where you nurture your inner creative, your inner artist, inner child). Why is this important? I realized the other day that 99.9% of my day is full of things I ‘have to do’… errands, work, chores, etc. Rarely do I carve out for play. And so, here we are on this artist date, just soaking up the sweetness of life and doing something that feels fun. I encourage you to try it.

  8. Really exciting work update!! I am adding in and reworking some exciting new pieces of content into my online program the Anxiety Free Method— So much to come, and so many exciting things to share… and as such I want to offer enrollment into this program at a steep price promotion. You can use the discount code BLOG at checkout for a surprise discount. It will only be available for the next 48 hours! So if you’d like to join, this is a super great chance to get in at the lowest price I’ve ever offered it before we come up with the next iteration of the program.

  9. For those of you unfamiliar with the Anxiety Free Method, it is a self-paced online program I developed about a year ago, that will teach you exactly how to set up a lifestyle that fosters resilience. I take a really holistic approach to help you overcome anxiety by teaching you how to change your mindset, address nutrition, balance circadian rhythm, uncover underlying vitamin deficiencies, develop a connection to nature, and understand the impact of gut health on mental health. You will walk away with a solid understanding of what thoughts & energy patterns are causing your anxiety and a path forward to help you understand & overcome the particular challenges preventing you from thriving.

  10. Thank you for reading. I really don’t have anything else to say other than thank you. I am so grateful for your presence, for your time, for your eyes reading my writing, for your energy & for just following along. Your presence here means the world to me (even if we’ve never met) I can FEEL your energy and I appreciate you being here. If you feel so inclined, say hello, let me know who you are. It is my favorite thing in the whole world to connect with you guys.

  11. And, if you are not already…. please subscribe to the newsletter. If you are reading this directly from my instagram page or from my website, stay in touch! We’ll chat weekly :)

That is it for today! Sending you all my love!!
